Day - 1 : Guwahati - Shergaon (250 kms 6hrs 30mins aprox)

Meet and greet at the airport. Proceed to Shergaon, a small village that lies near the border of Bhutan. Clear your formalities at the entry gate of Arunachal Pradesh. Shergaon as one of the prominent offbeat destination in the western Arunachal Pradesh, Shergaon is home to a wide variety of horticulture farms, a 300 year old Gompa (monastery), a beautiful waterfall, and long stretches of beautiful landscapes ideal for walking. Interestingly, there are no hotels in Shergaon, and you will have to rely on either homestays or camps. After reaching Shergaon, we will check in to our homestay, and then take you out for sightseeing if time permits. At first, we will take you to the State Horticulture Farm, which houses more than 40 varieties of apple, and a lot of exotic fruits like cherry, cranberry, blackberry, etc. You can walk through the village in the golden hours, and enjoy the sunset. The night's stay will be at a homestay in the village.

Day - 2 : Shergaon - Dirang (80 kms / 2hrs 30 min aprox)

After breakfast drive to Dirang. Dirang is a beautiful valley located in the foothills of the Himalayan ranges. The prime attractions of Dirang are the monastery, Dirang – Dzong, old Tibetan architectures along the Tibetan villages, and a hot water spring. Your stay will be at Dirang for the night. After reaching Dirang visit Sangti valley, which is situated around 15kms away from Dirang. After reaching there, you can go for a walk in and around of Sangti Valley. Fruits such as Apple, Kiwi, Corn, Green leafy vegetables are widely available in this region. Sangti valley is famous for its breathtaking scenic beauty. It is also the favorite destinations for birders, as migratory bird are seen here. After enjoying the sights, we will head towards Thembang. Thembang is a very ancient village. After sightseeing, we will return to Dirang for night’s stay.

Day - 3 : Dirang Sightseeing

Today after breakfast go for an excursions to the hilltop of Mandala. 30 kms from Dirang. The hill top is a famous spot for birding. It also has 108 stupas encircled in a beautiful way. Please note that Mandala top sightseeing is subjected to road clearance. Night stay at Dirang.

Day - 4 : Dirang to Tawang (140Km 6hrs aprox)

After Breakfast, we will check out from hotel and visit the Thupsung Dhargye Ling Monastery. From there you can have a look at the beautiful valley which is surrounded by hills covered with fruit orchards. After that, we will start our journey towards Tawang. It is perched on a vast slope of Himalayan mountainside. After light meal we are back on the way to one of the highest motor able Pass of northeast India- the Sela Pass (13700 ft.). The approach to Sela is usually marked by fog and hilly imperfect roads. En-route we will also cover Nuranang waterfalls and Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Tawang at an altitude of 10,000 ft is an ideal place to go for walks especially around the villages spread on the hill side below the main town. It has mostly been remembered in times of war (1962 Indo Chinese war). Overnight at Tawang.

Day - 5 : Tawang – Bum la pass (37 kms aprox)

After breakfast, visit about 37km away from Tawang, Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the valley offer a spectacular view. Next move on to Bum La Pass, which is the indo-china border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level. On your way back stop by heart lake, PTSO lake, Naghula lake, this will surely make your day (Please note that sightseeing of these places would require you to hire a local taxi and hence it is optional. Also, Bum La Pass visit is subjected to road clearance by Indian Army). After this return to your hotel for comfortable overnight stay in Tawang. Or if weather is not permissible to visit Bumla pass then visit Zimithang which is about 100 kms drive from tawang. Zimithang is a border village between India and Bhutan. Far away also can have a glimpse of China.

Day - 6 : Tawang Sightseeing

After breakfast we will go for sightseeing in and around Tawang. We will visit most of the sightseeing spots in Tawang including, Craft Centre (closed on Sunday), Tawang War Memorial (light and sound show in the evening), Urgelling Monastery - the birth place of Sixth Dalai Lama, other nunneries or oldest Ani gompas and finally dominating the skyline, like a mighty medieval fortress is the massive three hundred year old Tawang Monastery – the second largest Buddhist monastery in the Asia. We will take you to a light and sound show, displaying the pride and valor of Indian Army. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day - 7 : Tawang – Bomdila (180 kms / 06 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive from Tawang to Bomdila. Enroute visit Jung falls or Nuranang falls. On arrival in Bomdila, check in at your hotel for overnight. If time permits visit Bomdila Monastery. Overnight at Bomdila.

Day - 8 : Bomdila – Nameri (3hrs 125 kms)

After breakfast drive from Bomdila and proceed to Nameri National Park. It is located on the foothills of the eastern Himalayas and consists of a semi evergreen and deciduous forest. The NP adjoins Pakke Tiger reserve in Arunachal Pradesh and is known to be home to several large cats including tiger, deer, elephants and many birds. One can go for a village walk in an Assamese Missing tribal village and interact and witness the way of life here. Or one can go for a jungle trek or rafting in Jia-bhorali river. Accommodation in eco camp away from the city life. (Night stay)

Day - 9 : Nameri – Guwahati ( 220 kms 5 hrs aprox)

Drive to Guwahati. Drop at Airport. Note: Travellers having heart problem are advised to consult doctor before visiting Tawang.
